Aims and Scope
The Japan Society for Biomedical Research on Trace Elements newly published an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal named “Metallomics Research” at 2021, instead of the previous journal “Biomedical Research on Trace Elements (BRTE)”. “Metallomics” is an omics science which was proposed as the new metal-assisted biological function science, and the journal named “Metallomics” has been published from The Royal Society of Chemistry in 2009-2020 and Oxford University Press from 2021.
The goal of “Metallomics Research” is to improve the understanding of metals through the integration of various fields such as analytical chemistry, biochemistry, toxicology, epidemiology, nutrition, pharmacology, medical sciences, environmental sciences, health science, agricultural science, etc. It presents original articles, reviews, notes (short communications) on all aspects of metal-related biomedical sciences. “Metallomics Research” welcomes original, innovative submissions in English from both members and non-members of the Japan Society for Biomedical Research on Trace Elements. The submitted manuscripts are rapidly reviewed by the Editorial office in the Japan Society for Biomedical Research on Trace Elements. Publication fees are charged except the invited articles.
